One of my favorite patterns! This knit dishcloth pattern is an acorn. The body of the acorn is created with garter stitch and the acorn cap is created with seed stitch.
The design is symmetrical, so no adjustments need to be made for lefty knitters.
The picture is created using both garter stitch and seed stitch on a stockinette background. The cloth requires careful attention to the pattern while knitting the acorn cap as every row is a design row. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
