One of two elephant designs in the pattern shop, this knit dishcloth picture is of an elephant facing forward. His ears are fanned outward and his trunk swings out to the right. He is a nearly solid design with some spaces to suggest the ears, eyes and trunk.
The design is not symmetrical so some adjustments might need to be made for lefty knitters if it matters which side the trunk is on.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
