This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of a baseball. It has two curved lines to suggest the stitching on the baseball. It is an “outline” design, meaning the picture is not solid, but looks as if he has been drawn on the cloth.
The design is not symmetrical so some adjustments might need to be made for lefty knitters if it matters which way the baseball is flipped.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
