Description

This elegant swan glides gently along. She is designed in profile facing to the right with her head held high curving up to the right and her tail curving up to the left. Compared to the other swan pattern, this one has her head and tail held higher.

The design is not symmetrical so lefty knitters may need to make adjustments if it matters which way the swan is facing.

The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.

I love this beautiful swan pattern. I’m almost through with it, knitting with Ecru cotton yarn. I haven’t tried the other patterns I’ve bought yet, as I’m waiting to be able to buy the yarn colors I want. Thank you again, Emily, for your KAL’s during this dreadful stay-at-home time. Both patterns were cute, and I actually got up early each morning to knit the next eleven rows. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to try the rest of the patterns.
