Knit Dishcloth Patterns
This pattern has a special place in my heart. It is the first design I ever created and is still one of my most popular. This free knit dishcloth pattern is a simple garter stitch heart on a stockinette background.
The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
The design is symmetrical, so lefty knitters will not need to make any adjustments.
Knitting Information:
Finished Size:9 in. X 9 in.
Gauge:18 st. and 26 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
Needle Size:Size 7 US (4 mm) or size to obtain gauge
Yarn Requirements:Approximately 1.5 oz. of 100% cotton dishcloth yarn, worsted weight.
