Knit Dishcloth Patterns
Remember the days of safety pins and cloth diapers? This knit dishcloth pattern is a solid garter stitch design of a diaper safety pin angled to the right. A perfect addition to your collection of baby-themed dishcloths.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
The design is not symmetrical so lefty knitters may need to make adjustments depending on their knitting style and preferences for which way the safety pin leans.
Knitting Information:
Finished Size:9 in. X 9 in.
Gauge:18 st. and 26 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
Needle Size:Size 7 US (4 mm) or size to obtain gauge
Yarn Requirements:Approximately 1.5 oz. of 100% cotton dishcloth yarn, worsted weight.
