This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of a wrapped present. The present is wrapped in ribbon and has a bow tied on top. This is an “outline” style of design meaning it looks as though it is drawn on the cloth.
The design is symmetrical so no adjustments need to be made for lefty knitters.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.

Such a nice pattern that was easy to work and so highly textured. I happen to be a knitter who is blind, so I really appreciate that Emily‘s patterns are written out rather than charted. Makes them completely accessible to me 🙂 these are great as dish cloths or use them for a pillow topper. 🙂
