This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of a dreidel. The symbol on the face of the dreidel is “hey”. In the game that means take half the pot. The picture is an “outline” style, meaning it looks as if it has been drawn on the cloth.
The design is not symmetrical and contains a Hebrew letter, so some careful adjustments might need to be made for lefty knitters.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
